Dedicated server and crossplay

Hi!

A friend of mine tried setting up a dedicated server using steam and it worked fine, but if someone who has the game on gamepass tries to join it say that the host doesn't allow crossplay (even though the option is on in the game's menu). Anybody else had this issue and was able to fix it?

they're probably taking their sweet time to fix this in order to sell more copies on steam. this is actually such a dumb bug because they're using playfab, which supports crossplay.

Yep, same issue here. I assume they'll add a parameter to the config file that allows dedicated servers to enable or disable crossplay. Hopefully soon though, before we lose interest.

I refunded over this. Not going to be forced into buying extra copies. Already BS that dedicated server is only available on steam.

If that's what they want, don't release on gamepass. Terrible look.
