Are there going to be more magic/summoning weapons added to the game?
It feels like there's way fewer magic and summoning weapons so far compared to melee and physical ranged ones... tbf I looked on the WIki so I know for a fact that this is true but even just with my experience so far, have beaten the big slime guy and Ghorm the Worm and am working on Malugaz rn and I've only found two magic weapons and zero summoning ones. I think it would be nice if at some point there were as many options for them as there are for melee or ranged weapons, bc so far I've found a few of each of those (plus you can craft them, which as far as I know you can't do with magic weapons)... Or if there was some way to customize magic weapons or something. I dunno! Just spitballing here. The weapons I have found are fun but it doesn't feel as developed as a class as melee or ranged do.

you'll get more variety within the wall, but the loot pool really opens up once you're beyond the wall

The variety is extremely poor, 8 magic weapons, Arcane staff being the best because of the firerate.

3 summon weapon, bats being the less obnoxious to use.

Bats are not the less obnoxious ones, they are the only viable ones, jellyfishes are just retarded and skeletons almost never agro

as we dont have legendary summoner/magic weapons, there will be more (there have to be more)

I agree that Core Keeper could definitely use more craft-able staves and summon weapons as you currently get most of them as mob/boss loot. The only craft-able staff, the Chaos Staff can't be crafted until you reach the final biome unfortunately. I haven't played as a pure mage but I think the Scholar's Staff (The Sunken Sea) and the Sun Caller (Azeos Wilderness) are both decent magic weapons. Summoner on the other hand, has very few options for summoning weapons. I'm a bit surprised that there isn't a larva summoning weapon in the game as it would fit well with the Clay Caves/Hive biome. Imagine if the Grubzooka was changed to be less destructive and instead spawned friendly larva using mana. While we're at it I would rework the Burnzooka to work similarly but with Magma Slimes and add bazooka variants for the other Slime Bosses. More weapons that spawn minions when attacking in general would be really cool. I was also hoping for Summoner to have access to powerful tomes in the outer biomes but the only one available spawns a ring of orbiting jellyfish. Something like a Salvaged Core Sentry or a Reprogrammed Orbital Turret as a late-game summon would have been epic.
