A Waypoint didnt spawn?

I found the Sea titan arena and in what I found where I think the ancient waypoint was supposed to be, but there was no waypoint?? Really sucks because now I have to build a portal if i want a waypoint there

does every stationary boss have a waypoint now?
you still can grab 2-3 drills and a generator and hop into a new world and mine the waypoint that spawns within 50 tiles of the core :)
but ofc the map generator can fail too

Hey, I have the same thing in my world, I dug all around and explored the area making sure it didn't spawn somewhere else, but only have a spot with a little bit of tiling like what you show in your pic where it looks like one should have been but isn't. thinking it's a bug... which sucks because the water boss is so annoying to get back to...

It is an issue when the game generates the map, can happen at any boss portal too. Just start a new world, find the Glurch waypoint, break it then come back to your original world and hey-presto

Every inner wall boss I've fought hasn't had one, including Glurch. Just got to Azeos wilderness. Fresh 1.0 world and character. The only waypoint I've found is the core itself. Didn't even know bosses were supposed to have them lol

Only the ones that don't move around the map, have a waypoint near. Sometimes they spawn next to them, some other times, they spawn like 3 screens away.

Just chiming in to say that I have the same issue at the same arena. I found what looks like a waypoint room near Omoroth's arena but there is no waypoint inside of it. It's probably a world generation issue then!
