Small bugs farm for cattles?
Is there a way to make a lot of them?

Imo the larva area is pretty decent, since the eggs often spawn a lot of the buggy ones. There are probably better actual farms though

Somewhat. Collect Chrysalis (the larva zones ground spawner), place it in an enclosed room. Larvlets will spawn in huge numbers around it.
You don't need to minmax cattle though. None of their products are particularly useful.
Even the newly added eggs.

The eggs let you make golden oat meals that can heal for like 700HP total over time. It is of course slow to heal, but does not share healing potion CD. You do not need to min max that either though, since you can rely solely on healing potions most of the time. It is a nice boost for boss fights though.

I don't know it is just an illusion, or if it is an actual game mechanic, but I seem to have a lot of worms spawning around my base where I have my fields planted.
(I've also read somewhere around here that somebody is experiencing more worms around farmland too, that why I think that it might be a valid way of farming worms)

And yes, the chrysalis with it's tiny baby larvelets.

If you want those round black beetles build a wood farm. Holy cow! lol
