Where the hell is tin ore???
I can't seem to find any tin ore. I'm 5 hours in and have mined all around the starting area. Any tips for finding any?? This is where I've mined [imgur.com]

It's in the clay biome. This is the orangish/brown area on the map. If you're at the ring from a certain boss around your core you've probably gone too far out.

Dig out further and find the Clay caves. If you find the Forgotten Ruins (stone) then Clay will be the opposite direction.
