Master Chef not working right.

So I kicked out 100 food with Master Chef maxed out, and it gave me a mere 6 upgraded food items. Surely this isn't working as intended.

20% chance to get extra food, 25% chance that food is rare -> 5% chance to get a rare food, looks fine to me

So it only acts on the extras and not the overall output? I get it, but dang, that's a bit of a bummer after the effort of creating so much food to grind the skill. Might just spec out of it and take the raw damage boost instead.

Yeah, best to spec out. Spec'ing back into it if you ever need to craft the best food in the game. Like using Tornis Kingfish with some golden crop that fits your build. Otherwise, the perk isn't that worth it.
