"Connection Lost" when hitting "Join Game"

As the title says, I cannot join the server my husband hosts through his PC. We'd been playing together fine while on the same network, but today I'm in a different location than he is, and I tried to join him through Steam's friend list, as I have successfully for the past several days, only to immediately get "Connection Lost."

Upon hitting "Join Game" to try and enter a Game ID instead, I get the "Connection Lost" error. When I host a game, I get no Game ID under the name of my world, and my husband cannot join me, though he seems to be fine and can use the Join Game option without an error.

I would say perhaps it's that I'm having to join through an external network, though from Reddit and other posts I'm seeing, it seems there's something else at play here, as others on the same network either do or don't have issues with no real correlation.

I am using the version 1.0.0.6-3ce8 (Friday, Sept 6, 2024) version, to be precise, running on Steam, Windows 11. My husband is running the same.

I've tried disabling Crossplay, running in No Mods mode (I've never used mods on this game), making a rule allowing Core Keeper through my IB/OB firewall connections, disabling my firewall, verifying file integrity, uninstalling/reinstalling the game, and restarting my PC/internet. I've tried 2.5ghz and 5ghz connections. Nothing works.

I tried reverting to a beta version for kicks, (Beta 0.7.1 and 0.7.5 allow me to access the Join Game ID entry box) but sadly this obviously did not allow me to join my husband, though I could finally hit Join Game without a Connection Lost error. Even going into "moddebug" mode suddenly threw the error again when I'd hit Join Game.

Hopefully this information helps, would like to see that you guys are working on a fix.
