Finding bosses is a pain
I am running into an issue where I feel like I am aimlessly wandering cause I can not find the bosses without the scanners. Why not use the scanners? I literally can't.

The scanners take way too many materials, especially the titan ones. By the time I have enough feathers/seashells/scarab wingcovers I will have already spent hours wandering in the biome aimlessly. Please reduce the amount of materials it costs to make the scanners as it can take ages to get some of them.

The world after the 1.0 update is far shorter, compares when you play on early access. Fishing also punishing for people didn't like the minigame, now is cut off in 1.0 (even later they put that option and even with better balance). The game offers 2 different method to find the boss. Use scanner as the basic or just exploring the map. Both are fun, for me i always exploring map even using scanner. Sometimes in certain maps, there is some secret. Like Azeos Wilderness, i don't straight go to the boss. I know i can defeat that bird easily. I just keep exploring puffungi nest to find the schythe or just trying to mesesd with them. Also, you might find sort of fun when just putting certain moss in different biomes to keep them not too invasive or get bigger. (Moss is a crumble that on each terrain that used to spawn critter and even monster in certain biomes) to make the mobs war and just feel like you want to trying some nature selection of each mobs). The problem is when you aren't explorer nor the basic nor find a fun. You have choice to be bored and just find other game that more pleasent to you.

My only issue so far is my inventory gets cluttered quick. Idk if its just me or does anyone else inventory get full fast when exploring?
I frequently have to clean out my bag exploring a new area.

40 is still too many. It becomes obnoxious and a reason to play something else or do something else.
You probably never played Terraria or Minecraft before. I suggest you should try Turbo Overkill instead.
You probably never played minecraft before if you think the two games are more than superficially comparable. This game has much less rng and much more gating than minecraft.

It is a little bit of a pain since everything can OHKO you even if you're wearing area appropriate gear. Lol.
You're doing something wrong if that's happening too often. Most of the time, it's a matter of learning how to play correctly. Like... do you buff yourself with food? Are you upgrading your gear? Have you considered a different build?

Paladin is a level 13 equipment. With Galaxite you get from the desert, you should be able to reach level 15 with it, 16 with the challenge arena. At level 15 things should be more reasonable.

However, the set itself is a dodge gear. And dodge is weak until it isn't. The dodge cap is 90%, which is kind of broken at that level, but if your dodge isn't at least 65%, you're toast.

Just a fyi. It's not because the set is from desert that it's better than what you already have.

Don't be lazy, go get the items while at the same time you're exploring.
20 seashell while i found one strip mining/ killing every thing in the sunken sea is ridiculous, im mining to fossil now and still struggle to find scanner component.
Op complains about the grind in a game known for its grind.. :steammocking:

Got'cha. I'll switch over to galaxite then. Was also getting OHKO'd using octarine gear too.
It's nice seeing that I am not the only one who thinks the scarab wingcover and seashell grind is quite ridiculous. 20 seashells and 40 scarab wingcovers is far too many and takes an immense amount of time.

Yeah you're not alone. Items in this game has so many kinds. For eg in Azeos wilderness, there are a decorativer bush (maybe three kinds) seed, moss, equipment set and it still on its land terrain. White in water, there are sun kelp and some stuffs that i don't know what used for. It doesn't hace decorative explanation but i'm sure it has almost the same function. So yeah, its easily to waste.
I think they need to lower amount to 15 seashells and 20 wings.
In this game nothing to explore, actually, and spend time for search 40 wings in nearly hollow world is too much.

Reconsider your battle strategies. I reached Shimmering Frontier before 1.0 using Chieftain gear and a Octarine Bow, so don't give up. This is not a game you can just mindlessly swing your sword and expect to kill everything in your path with ever regenerating health. It's a survival game. I would do things like shoot once with a bow and hide behind a wall while the summons killed the enemy. I did things like placing a single wall in the path and then circle around it kiting the enemies while shooting with the bow. I would dig a 4x4 ditch around me and hit the enemies with a whip (that has a range of 2). You have options. Be creative.

Holy crap the condescension.

Calm yourself buddy. Its just a game.
Grinding itself in this game becomes boring quickly and we can't really do anything with it. Compared to terraria, sure terraria is a grindfest too and probably much more grindy then CK, however many of theses can be resolved by building arena and let minions, which won't disappear after 1 mins later, do the work for us, which is what Core keeper lacking now.
