Diving set?

I have been fishing forever and have not gotten even 1 piece of it. I'm fishing in beach water and using glowing bait. What gives? and I read that the ring is fished in forgotten ruins, but now that is maze ruins? I'm unsure as there is no definitive since 1.0 came out.

At the botom where it says 'Obtaining' you could select the armour pieces and it says where you need to fish.
For the amulet and the rings you need to eneter their own page (you have them in the description on top)... dunno why they don't add it to the sets with the armor pieces in the botoim part...
I almost forget that you could also buy the amulet from the fisherman NPC.
It could take a loooong while, I would recomend you to take a bucket and bring the different kinds of water to your base to make artificial environments.

You should save yourself trying to farm for the necklace. As you can instead buy it from the fishing merchant. Also, if you're trying to farm these items, you're best to buy yourself 2 lucky rings first from the vending machine found in the ocean boime.

As for fishing up fishing related equipment. It's pretty rare. Skills like Fishermen's luck actually decreases your chance of finding these items because it increases your chance of finding fish instead. Respec if you have too. And just fish in normal water. If you go for those bubble spots, you get fish 100% of the time, and when you do that I think that means you can't get junk/item instead.

Diving helmetbis rarer rarity than other stuffs.

Imo if you go for full set, go get first 2 golden fish rings for massively speeding up the fishing process.

You get those in the ruin, where they're the normal caveling and fire mage.

Diving Helm can be fished from Sea water anywhere or Normal water in the Sunken Sea biom "1% drop rate". Kelp Mantle can be fished from Mold water anywhere "2% drop rate". Scuba Fins can be fished from Normal water in the Underground biom "2% drop rate". Neptune Necklace can be fished from Acid water anywhere or Normal water in the Clay Caves biom "0.7% drop rate" you can buy this one from a Fishing Merchant as well. Goldfish Ring can be fished from Normal water in the Forgotten Ruins Biom. When you look at the map, it will tell you what biom you are in at the top right corner. gl hunting/fishing

I complete the set week ago, it's quite the same condition. So, just ..... keep fishing till it bore you out. As bonus, that how I get 100 in fishing too. Although last 10 level is for Tornis fish
