can enemys open doors?

question in the title or can they only open certain doors?

I am not aware of them open them in the regular way, but some enemies can crush through them if they fight, and some digging folks could dig them away (like some big larva or some cavelings)

short answer: no. don't think so. have not seen it happen. but we're paranoid players and put all sorts of precautions ahahahaha.

as Suthriel said above, some enemies can smash through walls.

the big mushroom will smash down dirt walls when they charge. they will damage crafted walls.
the big larva will eat through all walls except crafted walls.
the stone cavelings will mine through walls, except crafted walls.
