This can be easily implemented and be completely optional for users to utilize, especially the ones who would like to have a bit more variety in automation options.
smelting and mineing is already fully automated currently. there is no reason to make it even more automated.
"there is no reason to make it even more automated."
-I disagree. This is absolutely a valid point. All they have to do is to allow users to put a custom amount limit so users can have their own instead of 9999. I already pointed out the reason which is for a better distribution of 1 ore type across all smelters in the automated system. If you have only 1 type ore to smelt, but a huge number of it, why limit smelting to only 1 furnace, if you could overflow the other ores to the other smelters?
