Iron vs Scarlet Pickaxe
Has anyone else noticed that the Iron Pickaxe is simply better than the Scarlet Pickaxe when upgraded to the same level?

The Iron Pickaxe has higher Mining Damage than any other pick or drill in the game when fully upgraded to level 19. It's a bit silly. It even outclasses the Legendary ones in that regard. I hope they rebalance some of that stuff later on, as much as I love the idea of the Upgrade Station, I don't think it should result in stuff like that.

Huh, what are the numbers for an upgraded Iron Pickaxe?

also saw this and updated my low tier pickaxe even further to galaxy, and its better than the default galaxy pickaxe?!

mining dmg it is the best if you want to upgrade it, still i like the no duration and the mining speed way more than the mining dmg :)

There are some silly melee builds you can do with the drill and HP on hit items. Surprisingly effective.

I mostly played Ranged but I keep on a ring and necklace to give HP on Melee Hit, and using my Stormbringer keeps me topped up nicely and decimates everything. Better weapon than a drill honestly.

You can find it on the fandom wiki Pickaxes page, but at level 19 it's 1262 Mining Damage.
