Portals and Waypoints Don't Need Timegates
Timegates in my solo survival craft? Why am I waiting 10-20min for a portal to work? And for waypoints, I have to come back or wait the time so I can set up the connection tp spawn. This seems more than unnecessary since there are so few waypoints already and the cost is very high to get a portal as well. Removing the timegate would make the game so much more enjoyable as I can't see a downside to immediately setting up a connection. Might be a multiplayer problem?

looks like the devs want to prevent the usage of place and hop back to base, i get it that this can be annoying, still it is way to easy to get more waypoints with drills from different worlds :)
my bigger issue is how fast portals and waypoints get destroyed, that is more annoying XD

yes it is a single player and it does affect noone else, i could also say it is a single player game why dont they just spawn the legendary items right in front of me, "endgame" techs feel "fair" if you either have to work for them or they have some drawbacks

also im sure there is a mod for that

Also, destroy object drop itself and never despawn. I think 10 minute is not that bad, but further reduce to 5 minute may even better? Instant place and go seem a bit too cheap to me. Its remove meaning of item management. Although ... CK have too many item to fill your bag even I trash junk equipment all the time _oTL

You can just put the portal, use an idol to go back to base, and in 10m you can teleport to the portal, so it's just a needless time waste for the sake of it.

Nah , the time gate is redundant in this game - it adds nothing

Much like in Valheim where they prevent using portals to transport ingots ... you can wear full metal armour, sword and shield but not take an ingot through a gate? Nonsense

The best way to play core keeper is to install the 0 waiting time on portals mod
and no clip your way around the map placing portals - remove the tedium

The map is gigantic, portals need to be everywhere, its incredibly tedious getting from A to B when the 'exploration' element of the game has been completed (you've explored already)

Spending hours running around collecting 100 of each ingot just for 1 portal is ridiculous as well.

The game needs work
