Surely they won't change that thing.
Can't you just ignore him until you'll be strong enough to kill? Thats what i did

This isn't a good idea since spawning bosses isn't free. Sure you have the 2 out of the 3 starting bosses roaming around freely, but all the others require crafting, finding, farming, or purchasing the spawner... Making them vanishing like in Terraria isn't a good thing.

It works in Terraria because the resources to make a boss is extremely cheap and you can FARM them multiple times, like the Golem. If you open every chest in the Temple, you can find like 20 or 30 Power Cells to spawn the Golem, killing the Golem 4 or 5 times already gives you everything he can drop, even if you are unlucky, to the game gives you 4 or 5 times the chance to get everything.

Core Keeper isn't like that, so this means if you want to farm a boss to get everything the boss has to offer, you'll have to "work hard" on farming, crafting, finding, and purchasing everything you need to kill the boss multiple times.

later bosses do disappear and need to be re-spawned

Obligatory "git gud".

Jokes aside, if you aren't ready for a refight you should avoid the area.

I wish the absolute opposite. I wish they didn't despawn or at least not remove your item when you use it. I am about to attack something that requires a gem that took me a long time to even find one. Not looking forward to dying and then having to spend more insane hours to find another

Slime bosses and the starting bosses (besides malgulaz) are permanent entity, tho slime kind isn't too touch, ignore the are you put him in for now and get better gear, you'll be able to clear it out quite easily.

Good luck

Shouldn't really be a problem to have him sitting around until you're ready to deal with him. Generally the aggro range on the slime bosses is like 6 tiles, so you can go almost right up to them before they attack you unless you attack them first.

There's no "fix" here. I know it's hard to understand that, but Core Keeper ISN'T Terraria the bosses AREN'T suppose to despawn. This is something basic about this game, not hard to understand, and you shouldn't think a game must be exactly the same as any other game.

My suggestions for you:
01. Ignore the slime spawn and King Slime, go explore the world to find better ores and get stronger, then come back and kill it.

02. Find a way (I know one and I won't tell you) to exploit the boss (I can kill any Slime boss without getting hit, without defenses, even without moving!)

03. Create a new world and don't spawn King Slime until you are ready to kill it.

an easy way to deal with the Slime bosses before getting the King Slime set is to kite out and let them reset if you need to. they don't heal so fast, and you can whittle them down slowly and safely.
main problem is dealing with the mobs they spawn.

You don't need to do any of that to kill every single slime boss. I just accidentally found the water one, killed it 4 times, and farmed him. There's a way to exploit slime bosses that they won't deal damage to you, you can kill them pretty much with the weakest ranged weapon there is, it will just take time and copies (because they'll break).

How? Because I am about to go against the lava one.

You just need to be far. There's a distance that you can hit with ranged weapons without luring them. If you are playing at 1920x1080 you just need to hit them from the sides, and you can only see up to 30% of them, the other 70% is offscreen. Then you just shoot them, you'll do damage, and they won't attack you because you aren't close enough to lure them, but you are close enough to hit them with ranged weapons. All slimes work the same, it's the stupidest boss mechanic.

I bet all the bosses are the same, you just need to find the right distance. if the area is too short, just make a bigger arena and find the distance.
