Find the right biome, spawns in clay. Don't know how you got so low, my extreme solo run gave me 560 for 20min of mining.

either you are somehow using it up very fast, or are straight up in the rong biome

tin isn't that hard to find in the clay caves try finding enough solarite in the shimmering frontier. its spread out behind three biomes, the desert, the jungle and the sea.

Tin boulders are after the slime circle and gold boulders as well

most of my biomes are the blue goblins and iron/stone biomes, 2-3 meadows discovered 1 slime pit/slime Boss but no tin boulders, lots and lots of iron though

I kinda agree with tin being so little. I actually found iron before I found tin.

yeah same here, and iron takes 10 seconds more to smelt which is fine I own 20 furnaces, but tin is rarer than iron/gold seems like a biome oversight I rather get patch by a Dev than discussed on steam forums

Biome is in ring shape. Go opposite direction with stone, you'll see clay and mainly tin vein. Still .... Tin boulder is rare in my world. I can shot iron ore as my musket ball all day long.

through early access Tin has always been weirdly rare for how much you need for conveyor belts, though nowhere near as bad as you seem to be having, try going in the opposite direction of the stone biome to find the clay caves, there will be tons of clay there and also higher chance of tin boulders.

this only helps if I have existing Tin for the drills does it not? I literally have 7 pieces of Tin left and I am considering starting a new world at this point

Ok now I'm genuinenly curious. Tin should not be that rare, how far are you going into the clay biome? The borders are pretty barren, but the insides are plentifull. Go up to a large wall and you should fin a large node in the center.

Huh, and my new play (haven't played in awhile, started a new one for 1.0) is buried in Tin. Had hundreds before I ran into iron.
