Accidentally sold Mysterious Idol from the worm boss.

How do I get it back without installing mods? I don't want to install 2 third party apps just to get mods..

Since the idol is needed to resummon the boss, youre only option is to start another world and kill ghorm there to get another idol.

Edit: just checked, you could also search for the cloaked merchant in the forgotten ruins and buy the re-summoning item from him, if you havent had him move in to your base yet. According to the wiki, the scene always generates exactly 260–280 tiles from The Core.

I just made a new world killed the worm again then went back to my original realm.. Thanks for the solution.. :)

do ppl know that they can "invite" npcs to their base? (to buy stuff)

That is what that item does. You make a house with a bed and put the item down and the NPC spawns..

Because I had so much junk in my bag I clicked on it and sold it by accident. Happens.

I did the same thing with the fractured limbs. There was no indication it was a crafting item that I remember. EDIT - I discovered you can enable the chat command mod and give the item to yourself.
