Unique Character Builds

I've just gotten back into the game after a long break (my last game was a classic version). I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for unique character builds to try out.

[Feral Silver]

ranged is still king, magic is good for a crit build but its limited in shots by mana. summoning is interesting but its also mana dependant so its hard to get all your minions out there. and melee is still melee.

It's not new to 1.0, but one of the more oddball builds that actually works is weaponizing mining tools using the Miner's armor set + Miner's Strength skill. For best results, pair with Stormbringer.

Thanks. I've actually been trying to figure out what armor pieces I could pair with the accessory drops I get from Malugaz, but the bonuses are all over the place.
