Mana needs to regen at all times, not just when you stop attacking
the fact that mana doesn't recharge until you stop attacking means you are constantly having 10 seconds of downtime in the middle of boss fights where you just have to stop using your magic that you speced into and pull out a melee or ranged weapon or just do nothing while it regens, making ranged better in pretty much every way... Mana regen should just be a constant, so that pumping this stat to an appropriate level actually helps hit breakpoints for firing certain staffs without running dry.

i don't agree, while using mana you need to ''concentrate'' on casting the spell. So in my opinion you shouldn't be able to regen mana. also it forces you to use different weapons escape or what ever.. time to eat or use a potion?

You can lower the mana regen delay with items and such. Same with the "Energy Shield".

forcing people to play something they don't want is not good design

From what I've seen, why play magic when ranger is better at everything magic is trying to do?

Let's give ranger forced ammunition, it makes sense right? you have to "load" arrows.

Unpopular opinion:
The mana on crit talent should be removed, all magical weapons should have their attack speed at least halved and damage increased a bit to compensate.

Magical attacks should be slow, powerful and costly not ranged attacks 2.0 that get suddenly out of control if you maxed 3 different skills...

Most of the stuff has a "breaking point" if you are far enough into the game, the mana delay issue should wait until they fix the mana regeneration bug, when the regeneration works as it should, maybe the delay isnt a issue anymore

There is a way to regen mana using the food and potion. The next thing is pick your weapon that activates mana skill towards the enemy. A weapon can be the wolly wonka blue lollipop staff if you know what I'm talking about. Its mana cost per attack is relatively low, to farm it by using on hive mobs and let them keep spawning on you. Hit them with a safe distance where you are all set.

I Could say the same thing here... forcing people to reload and craft or find ammo is not fun.. how hypo critic are you?

also the game is evolved around leveling up. higher lvl = better mana reload capacity dmg or what ever?!

so most of the thing that are annoying in the first place will fade away by leveling up :D
