Root not growing in particular spot.

I've tried uprooting and replanting the whole section, but still the one spot, it just won't grow there.
Any ideas?

Hmmmm... So you've tried fixing the root right, how about trying to fix the floor.

A wild stab in the dark, but dig up that tile and replace it maybe.

there is a limit to how much wood can grow in an area/pattern. This isn't exactly an optimal setup for a wood farm

Okay, anyone having the same problem I saw this thread when looking it up and no one had the answer either but i figured it out, theres something growing underneath the ground like a stalagmite or something, what you have to do is take the shovel, dig up the space on the ground, and then dig again in the space with no tile and you should dig up something like a stalagmite or any plant thing that can grow under the tiles. once you've dug up the thing under the tile just replace the floor block and it should grow

I saw it online, can't take full credit.
I swapped the generators for levers, because you can walk through levers. Also the ability to toggle it helps.
