can someone explain me the mod.io thing ?
English is not a language that I completely master and I'm a bit stupid so I have difficulty understanding this new thing which asks me to connect with MY steam

I don't find it great in terms of security to link my Steam account to a site that is potentially not super secure

and why did you choose this third-party site instead of simply doing a workshop directly on Steam?

Or did I misunderstand something?

thanks in advance

i dont know why they choosed this weird site.

but that weird site is safe, SOFAR.
and used from other games too and i couldnt find any negativity towards it.

i guess its used for multiplatform that can share one modsite.

it think its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but it works on windows, doesnt work on linux with this game.

i wish they used steam workshop instead of mod.io, sometimes mod.io works but most games that have it end up breaking support for it with each major update.

if i had a choice in 3rd party, hands down Nexus is the better option.

Oh, it's one of those ... EOS ... mod.io ...

It's akin to singling out precisely those things that garner little to no favor or enthusiasm. What a lamentable circumstance. The game had held a cherished place on the wish list. Had being the operative word.

The necessity of linking to a Steam account remains unchanged. While the convenience of disseminating mods across multiple platforms may be apparent, our allegiance lies firmly with Steam. It is here that we procure the game, engage in its purchase, and indulge in its gameplay. The prospect of individuals procuring the game from the enemy or somewhere else holds no say HERE. Simply put, it is of no consequence to us here on Steam.

What do we care for other platforms?
