The cores are at 1250, 1550 and 1750 distance from core in the sunken sea. I heavily recommend getting the Map Extras mod from the menu, which can set a circle highlight at your desired distance so...you can just follow the outline. The core is at the literal middle of the banner so if it runs through a temple, you know that's the one.
I also recommend the CK Hud mod as it has a tracker under the minimap that shows you the distance from center at all times. This really should be part of the base game. Everything is designed around fixed distance from center, not sure why they won't show it to you.
I really dislike the fact that there is only 1 instance of the temple, it is predefined and the world is infinite. You can pretty much miss all important locations if you keep heading outwards as there is 0% chance of you running into them once you cross their fixed distance.
