Map dynamic or static?

Is a new game map RNG generated or the same for everyone. I'm having trouble finding my next objective and I'm hoping the maps are static so I can ask for help. (killed that bird and the poison slime) can't find coral wood or the next tier after scarlet ore.

This is the right answer. Talk to the Core and it will tell you what direction to go to find the next biome. Alternatively you can just head to the edge of the map and poke another section of the wall. If you head inside and it's not what you're expecting then head to the last remaining section of the wall.

Yes. The game's map is randomized. There are certain unique features that always appear but the location of them and all of the biomes are random.

Yeah, map is random, you can always get on there discord and ask for a hand
