Animals don't seem to be breeding, hungry animals don't always eat from feeding trays
I'm on the most recent update, & animals don't seem to be breeding. I've had a whole heard of goats in a pin (in multiplayer), keeping them fully fed. I've been playing for about 7 hours & still haven't got a baby, or a sign of one. Can the devs post more details on this feature?

Animals also don't always eat from the feeding tray, even if they are right next to it & hungry.

Hoping these glitches get fixed, or explained, because animal breeding was one of the main reasons I was excited since most of my animals got killed & never respawned in my first world.

It just takes time. I haven't spent any effort to figure out how much exactly, but I remember wondering if the breeding was broken then went into the pens a day or so ago and there were several baby goats, cows, and turtles.

I can't say for sure, but I don't think the strolly polies breed, though. Since I believe they respawn in the desert and *possibly* the stone biome. None of my very well fed strollies have bred, anyway.

I've noticed them not eating sometimes even when hungry, but eventually they will after enough time passes.

I had trouble getting the goats to breed for a while as they're out in a meadow. I fed them by hand and leashed them to pull them closer together. I now have a meadow with all cattle types breeding successfully. :Caveling:

My animals seem to be breeding fine on my end, but I've definitely noticed the problem with them not eating from the troughs. I want to think it might be a bug or something from the recent updates, but haven't seen many others talking about it. Moving the troughs and making new ones don't really seem to make a difference, and some of them I can only get to eat from them by holding food and luring them over to it, and then maybe they'll eat from them. Definitely have to do a lot of hand feeding :randyyell:

Would personally prefer a manual breeding method. For example, what if i don't want them to breed? I have to keep them all separated? Sigh.
