Locked Room: has an "s" on the door

I've found a room with an "S" on the door. I tried holding a glow tulip near it - nothing. LF help.

It is a Musical Note, not an S.
The door is covered in a musical score and dots at the bottom indicating how many notes must be played.
You must use a musical instrument near the door, and play the tune/combination
