i just started, around 10 min of gameplay, but again, compared to the witcher 3 this game is pixels, why the fps is so low?
Core Keeper looks like a 2D game but it's actually all 3D objects. That's why the lighting looks as good as it does.
It's odd that you're running info performance issues. I was able to run this game passably on like 20 year old hardware by knocking the settings down. On my modern hardware I get a constant 60 FPS with no problems. I am not running any AMD hardware though.
What kind of drive do you have the game on? If you're running it off an old slow HDD you might be getting hitching due to the low speed of your drive which is the only problem I ran into on my old PC.
If you've got it on an SSD I dunno what would be causing issues. Try updating your drivers and/or tweaking the graphics settings. If the frame rate improves then you know what the problem is.
Alternatively join the discord and ask if any other AMD users run into performance issues.

yeah i understand the 3d stuff , my pc is kinda new, i tried on ssd too, i had to update all drivers to play diablo 4. i tried to play this game with my ryzen 5 3400g with his vega 11 before i bought my rx 580 gpu, and with this new gpu my fps is kinda lower idk why, the only thing i can think of is compatibility issues of some kind
Early Access games are rarely optimized well, and this one is doing a lot of stuff "in the background".
This game chews through boatloads of RAM; I just fired up the game to test, and it used a gig and a half of memory just getting to the main menu. I started up my tester world and wandered around for a minute, and according to Task Manager it's now using over 3.4 GB of memory. Interestingly, exiting back to the main menu didn't release any memory.
If you're running on an old "spinning metal" hard drive, and your RAM is low, you could be thrashing your page file, which absolutely tanks performance. Try reducing the number of other things your computer is doing while you play, especially things that use a lot of memory; Start by closing your browser (or at least those 30+ tabs you have open to YouTube... and close the Facebook tab, too).
... or just wait until the full release, and hope the game is more optimized by the time it gets there.
Trash PC. Get better cooling.
Sounds like your the 🤡. Cant even get your PC to work right. Pathetic. Stick to consoles.
why don't you just keep you stupid comment to yourself since you're not adding anything relevant to the discussion? no one asked what you think...
They just sit it out. So dont get your hopes high tho.
