Put some walls on your hotbar, easily selectable. In case of impending combat, place the walls around you, then swap loadouts, then remove the walls. Walls should be low tier so easily removable without mining boosts.
This, loadouts are great and being able to quick swap them would be fantastic
1 - Combat Melee Set
2 - Ranged Set
3 - Farming Set(Harvesting)
4 - Fishing Set
5 - Cosmetic Set OR Specific Set Bonus
Having more loadouts AND being able to hotkey them? Devs please... It should be an EASY copy paste of your code and an insurmountable quality-of-life update!
EDIT: One more BIG feature and also a quality-of-life improvement would be automatically turning off the special abilities/powers you get from defeating the bosses when you're at your base(the harmful ones) - Just had Azeos's beam delete some chests and rooms while relocating chests..
I know these can be turned on/off manually but if you happen to forget doing that...
YES! More loadouts for specific builds would be great. It's rough having to choose which 3 you'll have, so I feel like 1 is just combat, 1 is for a specific job and 1 is for fun, but if we had more loadouts, we could tailor ourselves to how we want to approach the game.
Also, I never thought about the Azeos beam destroying base stuff, but it would be nice to have a quick toggle, whether by hotkey or clickable up by the HP bar. They could be a permanent icon to the left of the buffs, so the buffs appear after them. Translucent icons when off and colored icons while on.
Some good ideas here.
I'm no uber MLG gamer I assure you, but funny story - I walked into Igneous by mistake, not paying attention at all at the time. I got a rude awakening and then had to fight tooth and nail to destroy the fiery lump before it destroyed me. Wearing mining gear, no buffs, nothing... panic setting in steadily as the situation I found myself in finally unravelled in my smooth brain,
I won the fight though - hella good fun.
Edit: And the Cipher dropped.
Good on you, though. I'll be contacting you when I finally get to the desert. XD
