Report a translation problem
You should be farming glow tulips, making food with them, and placing torches everywhere. There's almost no reason you shouldn't have consistent light, especially so much so that you "miss an entire side of the game" also, you could just hold the lantern/bait/etc in your inventory until you need it.
The number of situations where having a dash or block would have been at best relevant like 15 or so times (Larva mom is the one place where the dash overwhelmed other perks.) Where as good visibility (Lantern+tulip is almost full screen visibility) when entering a new room or getting shot at is useful every 5 minutes (Or on the order of hundreds of times.)
The dashing and blocking is going to be at best amusing for a few minutes because they are really not needed with how things are structured, but having a slot might have made me actually consider them.
I agree that having a slot for bait would make it more used.
And I also usually skip the Shield(s) because swapping equipment repeatedly isnt worth the boost most of the time. Maybe the higher level shield can also be a light source?
