Shortcut to Drop an item on the ground?

Hello,

When I press the "Drop item in the world" shortcut, my character doesn't drop the item on the ground.
Could you please tell me how to drop an item on the ground, with a shortcut?

maybe this is user error or PC problem or bug...
this is not working for me.
I made sure this was configured in the Controls section of settings...
I'm ultimately trying to drop all inventory to the ground.
any detailed instruction appreciated. thanks
