Where is that Damn Vault?

I've followed guides, I have the map tool up on one screen and have looked all along the path where the Vault should be, but I'm honestly getting sick of looking for it.
I only want it so I can have a ranged weapon that I don't have to head back to base to fix when I'm in the Desert of Beginnings.
I'm honestly tempted to stop playing and wait for further updates in hopes that a change will be made to either make it easier to find or another ranged weapon like the Phantom Spark is added to the game.

It's very small and could have spawned within the walls making it very hard to see. I suggest stocking up on bombs and removing walls a bit further from your search area.
