"could not find game"

Hi! Me and my friend are suffering this problem so long. We need your help so bad.

My friend cannot join my game and it's been almost a week. We tried our best like, turning off and on everything, changing Code, deleting downloading the game again, etc.. But all the time, she told me she can see only "Could not find game."

I can enter her world in her server, but she can't enter mine.
I made a new world and new character and invited her, but it still didn’t work. In sum, she can be a host, but I can’t.

This is a really serious problem for us because we did our best to decorate our home in my world. I even made a cozy room for her but the owner cannot come and see that room. I hope she can enter and play together.

We tried to find the reason and method to solve this problem, but I couldn’t find anything. I found some people who has same problem as us, but nobody knows how to solve this problem.

Not a solution here but an alternative. You can upload your world file and make your friend download it so she can host (may need to change world# name so it doesn't overwrites any of her worlds)

Does the developer know this problem? I hate mp-games where you mp doesn´t work correctly.

I don't know.. but I can host after the updates.

Same problem here. My wife can't join my game-id (could not find game). Yesterday it works fine. Probably with the same versions. There was no update.
If i create a new world, the problem isn't solved.
She can't join any game i host.

If she hosts a game, i have no problem to join the game.
It's weired ...

Programs(86)->Steam->userdata-><userID>->1621690->remote->worlds

Make sure to match world name when downloading a new file

To up this topic - I have the same problem. We played several days alright, but then suddenly I can't connect to my friend's game anymore. And even if he creates a new world - it doesn't work. But he can connect to my world. So, exactly the issue people were talking about.

This is a serious problem and looks like it was here for ages. Really hope developers will fix it by full release, which is in a month...

Why not make your own thread rather than dig up a 2 year old one?

I think it´s about the same problem. So not the whole thread has to be copied into another new one.

I think this is a problem when you have mods installed. They need to be installed on the server. I was able to fix it by matching the mod file folder names in C:/Users/Public/mod.io/5289/mods by matching them to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Core Keeper Dedicated Server\CoreKeeperServer_Data\StreamingAssets\Mods and changing the world index to 1. Restart your server and it should work fine. :) Hope this helps some of you
