feedback cooking pot

If the cooking pot is close to a chest, i should be able to craft a recipe clicking just on it, and it should automatically pick up the food in the chest

The game works like this already actually. If you place any crafting table next to a chest (there can't be any space between the chest and a table) you can craft with any materials that are in the chest. Also works with the large boss chests.

I semi agree with this. It is a good idea imo. Actually I second this. lets make the pots connectable to chests and use the recipe book. Sounds solid to me mate.

I just went to check this myself and yeah pots won't draw from chests. I really thought they did for some reason.

Considering every other crafting table works with chests, I have to assume that cooking pots not behaving the same way is an oversight.

Hopefully the devs will make it so pots can draw from chests as well.
