You could also use drills but you won't get the seed back and you won't get xp.
Punching picks up the sprinklers and can knock down walls. Does the HOE actually harvest as well as turn the soil? If so that might be just the thing!
It would be nice to have a dedicated scythe for farming.
But yes, I agree, need a way to remove crops without accidental structural damage.
I've made comments about this in my gardening video. How I accidently remove my torches or the water well. Or even my chests containing all the seeds and equipment.
With Roots, you can swing your Sword and chop the roots and it does not affect the stump.
Need a sickle or scythe.
