Drills not working right

sometimes they dont farm if im not near them.... not sure why

anyone no how to fix this? just played for about 2 hours and came back.....2 scarlet was farmed from 4 drills.....

same issue im having since last update. i only get like 200 per big node now.

If I'm not mistaken, I think they stop working once you're a certain distance away from them - something that was done due to it causing performance issues. It'll probably be sorted soonish, but til then you need to stay within range for them to work correctly.

in otherwords they're useless.

Well you can make a little room near it, plonk yourself in it and go to sleep in RL for the night with the game running. That's what I do. Not an elegant solution but it works.

What sucks is I didn't know they get disabled at first, so I made a gigantic line from the scarlet ore, to the main base of conveyors. -- they're far enough away that the items either stop moving, or dont make it to the smelters
