You could argue all skills need an XP buff, that I'd agree with (esp. mining).
But as things are now gardening and cooking are right up there as 2 of the fastest to level to up.
In other words if they gave you XP for planting and watering, you can bet it would be lessened for harvesting.
It's kind of the worst part in the planting and harvesting process. Putting the seeds down is faster. Breaking the plant is faster too (especially if you have decent mining speed). So at the very least if watering the plant was faster that would be nice.
I have the skill at nearly 100. And a farming set of two petal rings and one farmer's hat. So I'm already receiving full benefits pretty much. But I wouldn't care if too much if the skill got made easier.
Totally reasonable yeah.
