How do i move save number?
Ive had that save duplicate bug before when my game crashed and current save moved to slot 2 and the one at number 1 is older and has some stuff built missing so ive deleted it. Now im trying to move my world save from slot 2 to slot 1. How do i do that? thanks and sorry for bad grammar

Go to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\LocalLow\Pugstorm\Core Keeper\Steam\129024471\worlds, you'll see a list of worlds with #.world.gzip. Make a back up of that folder just in case then try changing the number. I don't know if that'll work as I've not tried it myself (hence make a back up just in case), but it'll probably work.

Make sure cloud saves are off.

i tried that before even with cloud saves off but it gets buggy and weird. shows incorrect world name and icon, with character it bugs out completely and it has no name, and no items. its super weird

Aye just tested it myself. Called the world 'Legacy'. I didn't load into it though and went back to normal after renumbering it.

Perhaps the worldsinfos folder has to match it?

Edit: Nope, that didn't work

I'm all out of ideas on that one my friend, hopefully Bridie will step in and give us a clue.
Pretty sure you can't without a lot of effort involved in editing things. You'll have to convince them to make this a feature (and hopefully the option to rename/re-icon/redo appearance at the same time).

Hoping the developers can resolve this. I went back to the game after a year or so and created a new world and character. I found out how to delete the original ones, but now I have to move down to the second slot each time for world and character.

So, you don't like the gap at the top of the list of slots? There's no way in game. I guess the devs could add a function to move saves between slots.

For now, you can manually move the world and character save files between slots by renaming them with the desired slot numbers. Find them and their functionality with this guide: https://corekeeper.wikizet.com/en/Save_data

Backup this whole directory. Then rename the following:

1.world.gzip -> 0.world.gzip
1.worldinfo -> 0.worldinfo
1.json -> 0.json
maps/1 -> maps/0 (removing the folder currently named "0").

Don't rename the numbers of the 1.mapparts.gzip because these are fixed inside the character save file.
