You can add the helmet and chest larva pieces which also give mining.

Now this isn't the best setup running around just to be able to mine the walls. I feel like they should maybe take 3-4 hits. With this setup they take 27 hits with max mining which is a little bonkers but they are still breakable.
Last notes I have is that without the food buff it is still doable, but it takes 48 hits instead. If there is any other gear to push it higher it may be more feasible. Also I still use the pickaxe after the nerf as my main weapon hitting for 600's and crits hit for like 1500. To be fair, before it was doing 2k+ white hits and 5-6k crits which was out of control but I feel like it's still strong if spec'd right.
If the destruction of the mold wall becomes difficult, I would like to bring 400 contaminants with me to visit everyone's World.
