how to use mysterious idol and slime oil ?

pls help, how do i use mysterious idol and slime oil ? what does habitable room mean ? i try build a room with bed is it habbitable yet ? does it need spesific wall color ? or spesific item ?

I do not know what are the minimum requirements, but I dug out a couple 3x3 rooms, closed them off with doors, and placed a bed, a torch, and the specified item inside. The merchant that spawned from the slime boss moved into the Slime Oil room. Another merchant moved into the Mysterious Idol room. They don't seem to do it while you're watching, so you'll need to leave your base or log out.

After meeting the requierements you can just log out and in to the map. They will instantly spawn in the rooms.

In my case they didn't spawn because i placed the item on a pedestal.
