The Cross Promotional events as Booker. What changes?
Hey all.

Now, I know this may sound like sour grapes, but I'm just trying to get a feel of what changes when you enter these cross promotion battles. I really like the idea of them, and gives me a nice 'week off' when I'm challenged by the other companies. However, something changes in which the game works, and I can't put my finger on it.

In my opening match, I fielded a decent wrestler with good stats, who lost in under one minute to a female wrestler with low stats. She won via some sort of schoolboy pin. Fair enough, that might be a one off.

My second match my wrestler was dominant. Two finishers up which kept getting rope breaks. They went outside and my wrestler decided to stand there whilst a ten count made him the loser. Sure. My wrestler couldn't be bothered?

Third match I won. Seemed like a general match. Nothing to report.

The champion vs Champion. My wrestler is apparently the best in the world according to stats. Loses within a minute after a roll up, to their champion who I think didn't get a move in all match.

Anyway, My issue here is nothing this this EVER happens in my matches between two wrestlers. Time limit draws are common place and winning outside of finishers is very rare. My champion is not dropping his belt no matter how hard I try, including handicap matches. He's basically unbeatable. But in a cross promotion match he can be rolled up with full health and lose?

Now I've played this game long enough to not care about 'winning' it. In fact I'm using custom wrestlers and having a good laugh, but something is certainly different in cross promotion matches. Is it pre-determined that you're going to win or lose based on where you're invading and what the game decides?

At the end, you either gain reputation or you lose some. As for the matches being scripted, I wouldn't think so. I've had cross promotions where my promotion completely shuts out the other. I lose or end up splitting the matches. When I look at a wrestler to participate in the match is a full health bar and wrestling stat against the competitor. At times I just choose the wrestler with a contract coming up, if they win I extend, if they lose their out.
