The final straw for me was when I was world champion, tag champion and had the booker as my manager, but they were nonstop with the weight missions. Get to 330lbs, now get to 270lbs, back and forth. I was frantically working on it and only narrowly passing, until I was short by 1lb one time and got fired.. by my manager, as dual a world champion..
Court system is pretty broke ♥♥♥♥ too, but no mod to remove it unfortunately. Money isn't really an issue in the game except for early on, but overwriting your PPVs and title shots because some job guy disputes the result of a squash match, or because you finally had enough of a guy constantly attacking you just ruins the immersion/roleplaying aspect for me.
And yeah if weapons/objects are on the ground and you drop your opponent on them, it will register as an attack, but you won't be DQ'd for it.
A)you're over thinking the court system... it doesn't work off of logic at all its literally random... when they bring you to court its random who wins it doesn't matter the actual justice of the situation it just basically flips and coin to see who wins.
B)That promoter was indeed just trying to come up with a reason to fire you, you can protect yourself from it a bit by having higher popularity and attitude but again its a coin flip if they let you stay afterwards but this coin flip is altered by a few things and the main one is "does the booker like you"
If a booker doesn't like you and wants you out then they'll give you alot of missions, is a booker really hates you its usually best to just ignore the misssions and see what happens because if they fire you thats probably a good thing since they would have just kept messing with you if you stayed on.
Basically i only do the weight quests if they aren't going to mess with my wrestlers health too much, like recently on my current save I have a booker who hates me, he told me to lose weight (which i was already doing) so i did it, then he told me to gain way too much weight back.
I could have gained the weight back but it was getting to the point where i was too heavy (theres a sweet spot for weight tbh depending on the styles you're using). I was middle weight champ and had heavy weight booked before the quest was due. I just ignored the quest... I won heavy weight then the booker asked to bury the hatchet then they didn't fire me when it came about and now things are cool... so it can go all sorts of ways, I've been fired literally hundreds of times in this game for dumb things but that is the point, its a simulator of the crappy world that is wrestling and the court system is a satire of the justice system in real life and how rarely actual justice matters.
I also got sued when an Invader came into the ring, attacked me but I reversed and countered, which injured him.
I got sued again when I left a company with their title. I got sued again when I told the owner to honor the contract - the result was I lost creative control (so I had to do the cheat to get it back, moving back/forth rosters until it comes up).
I can't choose to sue someone though. A few times the game had me sue someone, but I didn't get a choice "Hey this guy beat you, wanna sue?".
What you think you were actually getting paid to wrestle?
