Due to a game update, all mods will no longer work until WECCL is remapped to the new version. Apologies for the inconvenience. I'm aiming to get this done as quickly as possible.
First of all, you have no idea how happy that makes me. I bought the game as soon as it released on switch but now iam looking forward to buy it Pc, finally.
Thanks to you and Mr MDickie.

Wrestling Empire's code is obfuscated. This means most methods and fields do not have their original names. Furthermore, the obfuscation changes every game update, which means we have to update the mod every game update, and manually figure out all the changed names until MDickie releases the deobfuscation map or starts using a set seed for obfuscation.
Yeah. Mat has only recently given his 'blessing' to the modding scene in so far as what IngoH has set in motion. And yet, he's certainly not making it easy. It seems like some sort of synergy between Mat and the community would be in order at this point to make things more fluid for all of us. Being honest, most of us still playing Wrestling Empire are only still playing it for the mods now that is finally a thing (and the odd update that Mat throws out.) I won't pretend to know anything about the game's code so I don't know how difficult or how simple it might be to make this more seamless for us all but it seems like it should be possible if Mat was truly on board.
I've asked him to help out a few times but he is very stubborn about "not wanting the game to be open source".
Automatic remapping every update has been getting better though and perhaps there may be a way to do so automatically in the future, but I don't see Mat making it any easier for us until he is done updating the game, which he claims probably won't be soon.
