Stuff I'd like to see in future updates

Important thing to note

To preface this, I just wanna say these aren't major features or brand news modes i wanna see entirely, just small stuff like moves, or tiny little nitpicks that add to the experience as a whole. Are some of these probably a little unrealistic? Maybe. Is it stuff I'm asking for? I mean, kind of? Yes? Just stuff I'd like to see but wouldn't mind never getting added.

- Different Turnbuckle Pads
Being able to change the turnbuckle pads would be a really cool addition to the game. To be able to switch from the standard, WWE-style turnbuckle pads that are already in the base game, to the longer, rectangular WCW/AEW-style turnbuckle pads, and the long, vertical, turnbuckle pads seen in boxing, or NJPW. Or even have the option to have no turnbuckle pads. And getting irish whipped into them can do damage, speaking of!

- Variation in Irish Whips
It would be pretty cool to see different versions of the irish whip, like a power one, Where holding down the B/O button instead of pressing it causes the player to do a more aggressive irish whip that could do extra damage if your opponent is whipped into anything, you could slam them into the turnbuckle pads Bret Hart style, or into the ropes and have them slam and bounce off instead of doing the usual turn around. And even have them turn around to have them smack their spine into the stairs or barricade.

- Being able to choose your matches again
I miss having the option to pick the match I want whenever I challenge somebody, and even being able to choose the date of when the match happens too.

- Other ways of becoming a guest referee
You could go up to your boss, and request to referee the next match, or even interfere in the match and come out in a referee shirt. The 1st one, not sure if possible, but using the system that was used in School Days during a quiz/test, you could even have multiple options for interacting with your boss.

- MMA Elbows
Unsure what to call this one, either the BCC or Bryan Danielson elbows, but I'm sure a lot are familliar with this move, it's when you continuously elbow them from a seated position. Be cool to see that make an appearance here.

- Spanish Fly
Really cool flippy nonsense move. Would be see to sick as a running or momentum move even.

- The Overdrive
this is for my boys at newLEGACYinc

- Clotheslines that make people do a backflip
Self explanatory.

- Selling taunts
Having the option to have taunts that sell a specific part of the body, could be fun for players who really like using the game to tell stories, and could even have a "Selling" element, aside from the scale, skull, and chemistry thingies, that raise the score when the wrestlers show that the moves they're being hit with actually affect them, and not just constant no-selling for constant spots, unless that country hates selling.

uhhhhh, I think that's all I can think of, if you guys have any other small stuff you'd guys like to see in game, that'd be cool too. Feel free to share your guys' ideas.

mod support would surely be awesome, but unfortunately the only reason he didn't go through with it is cause people would pirate the game :( although i'd love to see online multiplayer in the future! just not sure if there are enough active players on a constant basis for the servers to be active.

career mode imo should have more qol improvements like being able to choose what promo you cut before a match, or being able to be actual good friends with someone backstage, but have a nasty rivalry on story without that "can you believe we've been booked to face eachother?" promo everytime. the "story friend/enemy" thing really doesn't have a use.

Lol mod support doesn't make a game easier to pirate. The multiplayer could just be P2P honestly.

from what i've gathered so far, he's okay with mods that change cosmetic things such as textures, sounds and stuff like that, but stuff like custom scripts, things that kinda change the game mechanically, and generally things that involve code is where he draws the line.

idk why mdickie thinks that modding would promote piracy.. wouldn't it be the opposite? granted i'm not really a game dev so i probably don't have a say in the matter, but still, i feel like it would just incentivize more players to buy the game.

I'd like to see less randomness in submissions. Sometimes you put on a submission and it breaks instantly, other times, you're just sitting there for longer than a minute. And you don't really have any idea if a wrestler is going to give up or not except that it seems like they're more likely to tap if their health is low.

I realize coding moves is a ♥♥♥♥♥ to say the least but more moves. I see the same canadian destroyer finisher probably too often among other moves. Maybe Add different DDTs and powerbomb varieties

Gimmick matches - Again really hard to code so I'm not gonna sit here and talk about it NEEDING to happen but gimmick matches are limited to cage or barbed wire ropes. Furniture smash and first blood are pretty useless. Last man standing is decent. Ladder match and Cell (Hell in a cell) match with a roof you can climb onto and fall off of.

There is nothing that would stop him from only allowing people to upload cosmetic mods or whatever. PC Building Simulator for instance only lets people upload desktop backgrounds.
Also, I just did a quick google and this game is not very hard to get ahold of without paying a dime so the whole argument is silly. Pretty sure it's just MD being a grumpy old dev who refuses to listen to fans.
