How do you pen or cover a opponent?

Ive been playing this game for a little while, and I cant figure out how to pen someone. I keep having to give up First Blood fiights because I dont know how to pen.

If you play with a controller you just push the stick down when your near a fallen opponent. Not sure about keyboard mouse thought!
