A current job opening[www.frontier.co.uk] states:
25 new employees since the acquisition.
As they're still expanding it's pretty safe to assume they're working on something, whether or not that turns out to be a sequel or some other game is only really known to Frontier/Complex right now.
Whilst their UK studio is refocusing on what has worked for them in the past (park management games and continuing to support Elite Dangerous) it's more likely Complex Games is focussing on what they know, especially given the job vacancy linked above talks about turn based RPG games.
Seeing as Frontier haven't stated to investors that there is more than one game coming out in their upcoming fiscal year (1st June 2025 - 31st May 2026) whatever they're working on is probably still 14+ months out.
Just a thought.
