Fast Leveling
How can you level fast? I want to try out the remaining 3 classes that I haven't tried(Paladin, Libby, Chappie), but there are only 2 more Reapers remaining(I have the full Med.Chamber upgrade line). And the Grand Master Whine deactivated my Prognosticars! For NINETY DAYS!

Feed killing blows to the characters you want to level up, particularly against very strong foes. They'll gain extra experience and level up faster.

Having an upgraded barracks and some events that grant Ectar high Morale can also boost XP gains.

Yeah, but the likes of Paladin or Chappie I don't expect to have great damage, especially AoE. Purifier was super fun to level, just chuck Grenades and torch some fools. Yeah, will have to feed them. Once I actually get them(missing Libby and Chappie).

I forgot to mention this. Why can't you respec your GKs? I don't see why you shouldn't. Edit: it seems you can, but it's tied to the "commune with the fallen"? Lol wtf.

if you are lucky you can get a sword that increases xp gains by 100%. it helps a lot. You can use the iron arm arm biomancy to set up stunned enemies and then have the person you want to level do the actual executions for the xp. Its usually the easiest way to power level someone.

Yes, levelling up Paladin or Purifier(and most likely Libby too) isn't a problem. Chappie though...? He don't have any real damage abilities...just buffs that, yes, enable wacky stuff. But that won't exactly help with xp, will it? That brings up some problems with leveling system that is more akin to Sanctus Reach than it is to Battlesector. Feeding kills feels so archaic, especially if you want to power level these support characters.

Ofc, if respec was more readily available(I'm 100% ok with exchanging a dying GK for an extra point{really...allows some broken stuff}, but respec?), then it'd be a non problem with a possible exception of Chappie.

Oh and I really don't like this rng gear system. Because the difference between a proper loadout(even of T1 lol) and a random hodge-podge is ... orly? Just staggering. It also devalues replay value because you flatout can't properly plan out builds(because they rely on gear), thus falling back to cookie cutters that work regardless of what you have(example: AA / DS Psilencer Purg).

executions don't require any abilities, you just walk up and click on them.

True, but blowing up 3+ enemies on a routine > random execs. At least for leveling.

That sword, the Conciliator, isn't too rare. It's a Tier II wargear item. You equip it on the newbie you need ranked up, and equip everyone else with +stun gear. Then have the rookie Knight get all of the killing blows and execute enemies.

Chaplains are very easy to rank up this way--and even more so when you unlock Litany of Hate for them. That Litany makes stuns+executions even more rewarding (the Knight performing the execution gets +1 extra AP), so having your Chaplain execute everything after your other Knights set up stuns will rank them up fast.

As for things which you cannot stun and execute (e.g. mechanical foes other than Hellbrutes), simply equip the rookie with a ranged weapon that adds bonus damage to the target type or nice effects (like armour pierce) on psybolts. Or just plan out your attacks so the rookie knight lands the killing blow.

As there are no damage rolls in this game (other than crit chance), it's quite easy to calculate exactly how much HP a particular enemy will be left with after your attacks.

In addition to what has already been said you can bring a justicar and feed your leveling knight extra AP for finishing blows.

This is exactly why I said that I HATE rng gearing up(maybe there is a trainer that gives all equipment or something?). Why can't there be a store of sorts, I'd gladly grind it up. Me and rng don't really mix together pleasantly.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, how do I get a Librarian? I mean ... ! The only thing missing.

edit: It'd seem I'm also missing some Poxus Seeds. Doesn't really matter. :)

Now getting a Librarian... that's where RNG can really bite you in the ass, brother! That said, have you completed the Usa'rya mission? If so, about a couple hundred days afterwards, you'll get the dreaded conference call from GM Kai when he will offer you your choice of advanced classes, and you can get your first Librarian, guaranteed this way.

My advice to everyone is that you should always get a Librarian as your first advanced class, because of all the advanced classes, the Librarian is the biggest game-changer. The others (Paladin, Chaplain, Purifier) are nice to have, but you don't really need them.

After that, it is pure RNG in terms of Knight mission rewards. It took me nearly 450 days to finally get a Chaplain offered as a mission reward.

Yeah, ♥♥♥♥ rng, why can't we requisition desired classes directly through the Barracks(there are a number of QoL improvements that could be implemented here)? I mean, I want to give my review / opinion of classes, but one is missing. Don't seem proper lol.

I am trying to fish the Librarian, but nothing's going on lol. I think I will just finish the game. Maybe if I get those ~10 Poxus Seeds(just to complete the research tree), I will give it some more time. Otherwise, ♥♥♥♥ rng, I have had my fun!

Another good idea would be to make the highest tier of Knight rewards to contain mostly Advanced Classes(Chap, Lib, Pala and Puri) - that way high level Knight rewards wouldn't contain stuff(T3? Marked with 3 / III...) you already leveled. Oh and make them come just with x Skill Points where x = 2 * lvl. As opposed to random skills. Sure, you can chuck a DeadMeat(tm) off the bridge, as usual, but it's ass backwards tbh.

Yeah, the potential and maybe even the necessity for QoL changes is real! And make no mistake.

I got him. When I started to research the Final Research(tm) O_o . Unfortunately, I didn't get to play around with the right side of his skill tree(=casting), he came with the left and it was too late for a respec. Nevermind. He was a very good, very reliable tanky dps. Had a good Storm Bolter that synergized very well with him.

Now, with that said, I can safely go and review these classes. I will not rank them, that's silly, they're all good at something, how are you supposed to rank that? Maybe rank the cheesy broken crap, but don't use that, have fun, ok? Was a time and money well spent tbh. Kinda wish it had some kind of a skirmish mode. To just have fun, outside of Campaign.

Is there any way to guarantee what you get as a reward without using a Cheat Engine? Because I hate the rng gearing and I'd honestly like to replay CG:DH from time to time.
