- Purgators are invaluable in the no WP deed missions
- Interceptors are awesome thanks to their TP power and ignoring parry
- Justicars have great action economy with charge and Honor the Chapter.
- Apothecaries have good criticals and great biomancies
Paladins are good, but changing one of the base classes to paladin is certainly not worth 50% chance of losing the knight in my book.
Not dieing is not really an issue in the game. I got 3 knights take a critical injury throughout the game, and that was doing all the deeds.
What I liked the most was their +1 Stun on force strike, and fury of the ancients indeed.
Paladins are super strong though. Using a stun bonus hammer with their bonus stun force strike makes them pretty insane, extra action points are incredibly strong from executions. Both hammers and psycannons have very strong AoE damage, and then Paladins get Fury of the Ancients which is a showstopper.
but then you can also do an AOE 4stun on a librarian, for 1 ap and some wp. and depending how many are in the aoe you can get 1-3 Execute out of it.
Chapelain are as much if not more tanky than paladin, and provide much more support to the rest of the team through lithanies.
Not a big fan of paladin they felt mostly useless when i got them compared to pretty any other class.
