I am near the end of the game (around day 600 I think). This is more or less my biggest gripe with the game: You can't really get advanced classes if you don't want to deal with the weird respec they implemented.
I know it's neither new nor innovative but why not having an option to send level 9 knights on a (fairly lengthy) trip to Titan or something to earn their advanced class which they start at level 1 again? This would give me a reason to gain XP again. After having two fully leveled teams I simply stopped caring about leveling the rest.
After every mission attempt to recruit and see what you get. You don't need to accept the recruit.
