Any way to respec/reset abilities?
I just learned with terror that the level cap is 9… so how can I respec or reset the abilities?

build the facility that allows you to commune with the dead, then murder a knight (Not Joking, yeet them off a cliff with a nade)

Each dead knight will allow you to either respec a knight or give a knight +1 skill point.

Hmm ok thx, can’t I just murder/sacrifice them in the menu/on the ship?

No, you have to make it look like an accident. Bit of a silly mechanic, really.

Is there any other way they will gain points after reaching level 9?

The game is just starting and I’m already maxed out on the level?

Hmm not very encouraging, respec is a hassle and there isn’t even a way to gain points otherwise?

Not sure if I’m gonna see the it through now.

It's actually quite brilliant. You respecialize a soldier but only after communing with a dead one. That means if you want to do something as overpowered as totally respecialize a soldier, you need to lose something.
I had an event where someone "would not recover from their critical wounds" unless you do this totally annoying time consuming quest.

My reaction wasn't "Oh no I lost a level 9 Knight", it was "Oh nice, now I can top off my Libarians skill tree because I just realized how much nastier warp surges can get on ruthless"

Does anyone know if you need to commune right away or can you stuff a big old pile of fallen brother (like for example, lvl 1 rookies you "accidentally" brought to a flowering gate mission) in the same stasis chamber until needed? (Like five hundred days later when you finally request a lvl 7 Chaplain and his skill tree is whacked AF!)

No time limit on communing.

HAHAHA. Even our ELite Greey Knights have issues with leadership in the field and have made Fragging a relevant issue in the grim dark future
