Modding
Am I the only one who wishes modders would pick up this game? Like I know I'm talking from a place of privlage, not making mods myself, and being gross enough to profit from their work without donating.. but just from my perspective, this is a RELATIVELY simple game, that could benifit greatly from a modding community.. be it quality of life changes, or just general improvements that the devs refuse to touch, or creating a proper NG+ loop.. there's a lot of potential here, and sadly at this point I can't play the game without staring at the issues there are and being upset, I've beaten the game like.. 4? times now, base game, for each DLC, and I think i beat it an extra time at some point. I love the game, and want to keep enjoying it but.. there isn't a lot of replayability, and modding could help with that

TLDR: if it's the devs putting the hault on modding, stop.. it could very well rejuvinate interest, and possibly currate more sales.. if it's just a lack of interest, I beg.. please mod this game, it needs it

It's not up to the devs. Games Workshop is famously unfriendly to modding, so W40K games tend to have no Steam Workshop or any other support for mods.

that's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb, outside of pride there is no reason to disallow mods

And yet plenty of Warhammer games (new and old) are actively modded. Just browse Nexus Mods[www.nexusmods.com] and you'll fins several (some, like Gladius - Relics of War even have Steam Workshop support).

The issue here is Denuvo, not Games Workshop.

Notice also there's no official Discord community for this game either and the Subreddit is dead. Again, it's the devs. Not Games Workshop. Other devs engage with the community and encourage and actively respond to feedback. Just look at this game's "mixed" to "negative" DLC reviews and see if the devs cared. Nope. These guys are just intentionally distant, silent and absent.

Denuvo ain't Games Workshop doing.

Denuvo anti-tamper is being used because Games Workshop doesn't want people to modify this game, and they went with Frontier as the developer because Frontier prefers to use Denuvo and not support mods.

Quite different from Slitherine who published Gladius.
Why else do you think that Chaos Gate wasn't given to Slitherine?

Denuvo ain't Games Workshop doing.
Correct as far as it goes: Denuvo is written by Irdeto, not GW.

However, Denuvo anti-tamper is being used in this game because of GW. You do realize that they've been engaged in litigation over trademark infringement for decades now?

Look up Blizzard and a game called Warcraft. Or Games Workshop Ltd. v. Chapterhouse Studios. Or Games Workshop vs anyone using the term "space marine." Heck, they're still at it:

We would LOVE to mod the game. They need to add support for us to do so :(

Me personally, I don't like using 3rd party applications to mod a steam game, I always use it if they have one available on the tools section. This one does not sadly :(
