Win Missions Without X Gear
Can't stand those missions. What, was the Kill X using X not diverse enough?

yeah nah, best ones are servitors missions - complete with 3 knights LOL :conwaypunch:

Those are simply annoying. The real pain is glorious deeds with "without using willpower": even if you refrain from using any abilities, anything which drains willpower will result in failure.

Yeah, no WP gets my vote for most annoying. Not just because it makes missions long and tedious (but still manageable), but because muscle memory makes involuntary violating this rule all too easy.

No mastercraft gear is easy enough to compensate for with other gear. You just have to rely more on grenades and servo skulls. Most essential effects are abilities rather than gear.

But the no mastercraft missions are a pain without a way to save loadouts, though. At least, the no WP missions don't require as much inventory shuffling.

How much requisition do you need? I've just been skipping those deeds (willpower/load out admin) and have enough for full GM upgrades and all the gear I can actually use

100% agree. Wish if you took that mission it just stripped all your mastercraft for that mission only. And reset after.

On legendary you need all of it. You get less req per mission. Without Glorious deeds you would basically be headed out in loin cloths for the first 500 days.

When I played on merciful just to get a sense of it, I was floating 20 to 30 req at all times. It became a meaningless resource.

That makes sense. I'm on normal

Some are still a hard pass, though. You usually cannot afford missions without willpower early on, and 3 knights might be pushing your luck in some cases, but later on, I used to do them all, apart from the one in the frigate.

Just did a mission without grenades which was fun, gave every knight hailer servo skulls. Don't think I took a single hit

It's not about requisition, it's about how annoying the feature is.

On every no WP, no MS weapons, 3 knights - i just bring Callidus.
She on her own can solo anything on Legendary up until day 700+, when you start getting pods of single 50hp enemy.

Vindicare is also great on them. His 2 bullet delete opponent doesn't require WP or masterwork gear. Eversor is a bit trickier to use with baseline gear.

Another good option is the techmarine. His servitors don't require WP or masterwork anything to work (he has a bit less without his masterwork armor, though).

I still dont take some glory missions, unless its like "use no will power" and its a spreader mission. Because you can just rush the spreader and TP on it and kill it in 1-2 turns, no will power involved. But usually ill skip this type of deed and the 3 knights one. idk if it counts as 3 knights if you use 3 knights and an assassin, maybe ill try that, and see if it lets me launch the mission with out the red warning lol.
But since I play on ironman, and impossible id rather miss a deed then lose a guy and have to use a that bonus deed on a new guy or something, or just flat out fail the mission. Since sometimes the chaos gate can do some real XCOM rng stuff lmao.
