Then as his gear gets better he can get upwards of 70% crit chance without war gear and over 100% with his crit vulnerability debuff. Idk I really like him. If the callidus assassin wasn’t so game breaking for stun comps and kinda just in general in the mid to late game, I would personally vote the vindicare as the best assassin in the game. He has such a crazy toolbox for any situation.
I put him above the Eversor because I think the Vindicare is at least really strong in the early game and has a solid niche in Bloom Assault missions, even if he can't compete in a more general sense with the sheer brokenness of the Callidus or the late-game powerhouse of the Culexus. Whereas the Eversor just... I mean, is really cool and fun, but there's virtually no instance I can think of where the Eversor would be preferable to the Callidus.
Psychic Shriek and a Stun Bolter and the rest of the team can just hang back and watch those two have fun.
So, yeah, I was quite underwhelmed. It actually has more trouble doing what he is supposed to be doing vs random cultists and PMs than against Dreads and bosses and such. A random "IT BLEEEEEDS!!!" slimeball is somehow more difficult to damage(or even eliminate) than Big M?
That's the reality of Vindicare.
